SCHOLARSHIP and TUITION ASSISTANCE

 

CKYO is committed to the equitable access to high-quality music education and seeks to make our programs accessible to all students who successfully audition into an orchestra, regardless of their financial background. Need-based tuition assistance is available for all CKYO orchestras and we encourage families to apply, whether you are requesting full tuition assistance for the season or a $50 per semester assistance, all requests for tuition assistance should be applied for via the CKYO Tuition Assistance Application. All families with tuition payment concerns are encouraged to apply.

 

The applications are confidential and only reviewed by the Finance Committee of the CKYO Board of Directors and communication is done through the Executive Director. No other staff member or Board Member handles tuition assistance. Please DO NOT pay tuition until you have heard from the office regarding your Scholarship Application. CKYO is unable to provide refunds.

APPLICATIONS for the 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR WILL BE PUBLISHED JUNE 1, 2025 and ARE DUE AUGUST 1, 2025. Applicants will be notified via email about the status of their application by September 1, 2025.

2024-2025 TUITION INFORMATION & PAYMENT PLANS 

2025-2026 Tuition Details and Payment Plans will be available June 1, 2025.

 

2024-2025 PAYMENT PLANS

Semester Tuition is usually paid each semester (due in September and January of each school year). Additionally, CKYO is happy to offer all members the option of setting up a tuition payment plan. Payment plans run September – April (8 equal payments). Sign up to pay monthly via a payment plan will be available July 1, 2024 and linked in the registration information sent with audition results.

Below are the monthly installments for each ensemble:

• Symphony Orchestra: $72.50, Sept – April.

• Concert Orchestra: $68.75 Sept – April.

• Repertory Orchestra: $65.00, Sept – April.

• Bravo String Orchestra: $61.25, Sept – April.

• Jazz Arts Orchestra (Jan – May): $65.00 - Jan – April.

• Jazz Repertory Orchestra (Jan – May): $61.25 - Jan – April.
