Conductor, Repertory & Bravo String Orchestras

Nancy Campbell is a respected educator, conductor and author. As a violist, she often performs in the region and is co-founder of Lexington’s Original Viola Ensemble. Having recently retired as the Orchestra Director at the School for Creative and Performing Arts in Lexington, she currently serves as conductor of the Central Kentucky Youth Repertory and Bravo String Orchestras. She has served in several leadership roles in Kentucky Music Educators Association, the Kentucky Chapter of American String Teachers Association, and Fayette County Public Schools. Nancy is proud to be a member of the Instrumental Music Faculty member for Kentucky Performing Arts Governors School for the Arts.
