Please prepare all the excerpts presented for your instrument.
In addition to playing the excerpts for the judges, you will also have to perform some sight reading.
We highly recommend you listen to the following recordings of the repertoire that these excerpts are taken from. Listening and becoming familiar with the excerpt in context of the whole score is extremely beneficial.

TRANSPOSITIONS: If you play a transposing instrument, please be sure to note the transposition for performance key indicated.
CLEFS: If you play an instrument that reads multiple clefs, please be sure to note which clef is indicated.
TEMPO: The tempo marking for each excerpt is a performance tempo and is intended as a guide. Please consult with your teacher about the optimal tempo choice for your audition that will showcase you the best.
RECORDINGS: The name of the piece and movement of each excerpt is included to help in the process of finding a recording. Please take advantage of all of the recorded resources out there! Listening to (or watching) a recording of the complete piece or movement from which an excerpt is taken is a great way to get to know the piece and the context of your part.
