Each year hundreds of elementary, middle, and high school students audition to be part of CKYO’s four distinguished orchestras. Along with these, the CKYO has two jazz ensembles and a percussion ensemble. The members of these groups represent some of the finest young musicians in the Central Kentucky area.  In addition CKYO operates two intensive after-school programs for elementary and middle school students.
