2010-2011 Preparatory Orchestra
The CKYO Preparatory Orchestra offers young string and wind instrumentalists an opportunity to play in a full orchestra. The orchestra meets on Tuesday evenings from 6:45-8:30pm and emphasis is placed on learning, reading, and ensemble skills. This orchestra is comprised of over eighty musicians and will be conducted by Nancy Campbell and Steven Pederson. Students must have at least two years of playing experience or one year with some private instruction. Rehearsals are at ArtsPlace in downtown Lexington at 161 North Mill Street.
