Concert Dress

Introduction

Formal concert attire helps set a professional atmosphere at each CKYO performance. Members should take pride in keeping outfits ironed and well kept. Only CKYO members who are dressed accordingly will be allowed to perform on concert days.

Tuxedos:

  • Tuxedos may be rented through Geno’s Formal Affair
  • Average cost - $90-$95

Dresses/Blouses:

  • We will order dresses/blouses as a group. Payment is due with tuition.
  • Sizing/Measurements – will be taken at first rehearsal.
  • Ladies will choose dresses from four styles and eight different necklines.
  • All dresses are black, formal length, and ¾ length sleeves.
  • Ladies will choose blouses from ten different necklines and will have 3/4 length sleeves.

Symphony Orchestra

Male:

  • Black Tuxedo
  • White Bow Tie, Cummerbund, and White Dress Shirt
  • Black Dress Shoes and Black Socks.

Female:

  • Long Black Formal Dress (Please see Dress/Blouse Order Form for selections)
  • Black Dress Shoes (NO flip-flops)

Concert Orchestra

Male:

  • Black Tuxedo
  • Black Bow Tie, Cummerbund, and White Dress Shirt
  • Black Dress Shoes and Black Socks

Female:

  • Long Black Formal Dress (Please see Dress/Blouse Order Form for selections)

Preparatory Orchestra

Male:

  • Black Dress Pants
  • White Long-Sleeved Dress Shirt
  • Solid Black Long Tie
  • Black Dress Shoes & Black Socks

Female:

  • White Blouse (Please see Blouse Order Form for specific selections)
  • Long Black Skirt or Black Dress Pants
  • Black Dress Shoes (NO flip-flops)
  • Black hose or tights

Jazz Arts Orchestra

Concert Season:

  • Black Long Sleeved Dress Shirt
  • Black Dress Pants (Black belt if there are belt loops)
  • Black Dress Shoes and Black Socks (NO flip-flops)
  • Bright and Loud Long Tie

Summer Season:

  • Khaki Shorts/Pants
  • Solid Colored Polo Shirt
  • Choice of shoes (NO flip-flops)
