Audition Process

2010 Auditions were held Saturday, August 14th at Sayre School

• Please fill out the form completely.
• If you have a question about which orchestra to audition for, please discuss with your private teacher or contact the Music Director, Kayoko Dan, at ckyomd@gmail.com.
• It is not a requirement to have a private teacher prior to auditioning for CKYO, but you must have one by the registration deadline. You must also be registered/enrolled in your school music program.
• Deadline for submission of application is Monday, August 2nd. Please return the Application Form and $10 Fee to the CKYO office.
• Audition instructions and music will be mailed out soon after receipt of the Application Form and the Fee.
• If student is unable to attend auditions on August 14, you must submit a DVD/VHS video with audio audition by August 12, 2010. For instructions of what to record, how to submit, etc, please contact ckyo@ckyo.org.
• Audition times will be posted on www.ckyo.org one week prior to auditions.
• Results of audition will be posted on the website by Tuesday, August 17th @ 5:00pm after confirmation by Board of Directors.
• Jazz Arts Orchestra will have auditions in December.
