The CKYO
Symphony orchestra is composed primarily of high-school players,
some traveling over an hour each way to participate. There are
one hundred musicians in this orchestra. The Symphony Orchestra
meets on Tuesday evenings and plays only advanced orchestral
music in its original form with an emphasis on preparing
students for collegiate or semi-professional orchestras.
