After every concert, CKYO hosts a small reception for our musicians, families, and friends. We also provide food during our Run Out Concerts for our members and chaperones. To help cover the cost, we are asking every member for a $15 reception fee. Please include this with your tuition.

CKYO has string basses and a number of specialized woodwind instruments. The basses are of a much higher quality than can be rented from local music stores. The wind instruments are for special applications and they will be issued to students on an as-needed basis when these situations occur.

Rental costs $25 per semester for wind instruments, $50 per semester for basses. At the conclusion of the year, the instruments will be returned to the music director for inspection. In the event an instrument shows unusual wear or damage, the renter agrees to pay for such repairs. Returns after the due date will incur a late fee of $25 per week.

If your child plays string bass and you are interested in renting one of ours, please contact the CKYO office. Musical instrument renters will be billed a few weeks into the semester.

Season tickets save money over buying tickets at each concert, but more importantly they keep you from having to stand in super-long ticket lines! Season tickets will be available prior to the first concert. Due to new procedures, season tickets will be non-replaceable.

Season Tickets are $20 for all five concerts. Remember, admission is FREE for any CKYO member, or for any child under 6 years old.

Please indicate the number of tickets you need on the payment form and include the amount due with your tuition.

Every performance will be professionally recorded and available to purchase on a compact disc. You can reserve your copies of the CDs and they will be automatically mailed to you after each of your child’s performances. Buying them now saves the hassle of the paperwork and also ensures that you get one of the first copies available.

The three-CD-set is only $30. Please include payment with your tuition.
