Endowment FundCKYO needs your help! We are at the midway point of raising $250,000 towards our Endowment Campaign to ensure our future financial stability and to help maintain affordable tuition and ticket prices. We hope every CKYO family will participate in this campaign as a fundraiser in one or more of the programs listed below or as a donor. Each of the following organizations gives CKYO a portion of their profits when you shop in one of their stores. There is no cost to you and CKYO receives several thousand dollars per year from these programs!
Kroger Gift Card The Kroger Gift Card is great way to make your shopping easier and to help raise money for our Endowment Campaign. Each time you recharge your card at the register or service desk, Kroger donates up to 4% of the value to CKYO! Then just use your card at checkout like a regular credit or debit card. The cards are issued through the CKYO office with a $5 balance already on them. Please include the $5 activation fee for each card ordered with your tuition. PLEASE NOTE: The most common cause of cards not scanning is that they are demagnetized. These things will demagnetize a card: eel skin wallet or pruse, money clip, magnetic latch on purse or wallet, cell phone or anything with a speaker. At times, the system will do down in the store. It is usually back up within a few minutes. Checking a balance at a fuel center will hold up card use for one hour. Thornton’s FundWorks Just like the Kroger Gift Card, the Thornton’s FundWorks Card is recharged and then used at the pump or store like a credit or debit card. The cards are issued through the CKYO office with no balance. Cash Donations All cash donations to our Endowment Fund are tax deductible and your name will appear under a special category in each of our concert programs this year.
If you are interested in helping with our Endowment Campaign through any or all of these options, please indicate which ones on your registration form. Thank you in advance for your support—the money we raise allows us to bring forth new musical and educational programs in an atmosphere of good stewardship.
